The role of the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Civils & Groundworks will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range groundworks for the modular building market sector
- Reviewing tender enquiries and collating more information from client where required
- Producing BOQs and tender packages
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
- Assist in the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, enquiries and negotiations
- Attending pre & post contract meetings with clients
- Cost management for project/section of works
- Value/change management for scope of works
- Submission of applications and variations
- Project sizes can vary from £50,000 to £1,500,000
The ideal applicant will be Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Civils & Groundworks with:
- Must have 3+ years quantity surveying or estimating experience dealing with groundworks, reinforcement, drainage, foundations, civil engineering or modular construction
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ambitious with a desire to succeed and grow with the company
- Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
