£16.00 - £20.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.

We are looking for day and night drivers, offering availability for weekend work.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday days £16 per hour
• Monday to Friday nights £18 per hour
• Saturday £19 per hour
• Sunday £20 per hour

Day to Day Duties

• Curtain Side work
• Trunk Runs
• Handball may be required
• Strapping loads correctly
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with Driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
• Hold a valid UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on a general haulage contract is desired but not essential

Training

• Written assessment required
