Hayley Dexis is looking for a Business Development Salesperson to join our well-established and experienced team at our Hayley Northern branch in Normanton. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities for our Business Development Salesperson will include:

  • Visiting & building relationships with new & existing customers.
  • Developing new & existing customers with added value solutions & services.
  • Planning & prioritising sales activities ensuring prompt responses.
  • Collaborating with your sales team on a dayto-day basis with customer requirements and enquiries.
  • Presenting results, trends and analysis to senior sales team.

Skills & Attributes we’re looking for in our Business Development Salesperson:

  • Experience of working in the MRO sector or an engineering/sales environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Positive selfmotivation.
  • Strong attention to detail and driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
