About the Role

Join our team as an SEN Learning Support Assistant and make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse educational needs, including Autism and related conditions. In this exciting role, you'll work closely with a talented teaching team to provide both academic and vocational support, helping students unlock their potential and thrive both in and out of the classroom. From hands-on outdoor Bushcraft activities to life skills sessions, every day will bring new opportunities to inspire and empower students to succeed.

You'll be at the heart of a dynamic, specialized learning environment, where your support will help students manage sensory overload, reduce anxiety, and navigate transitions as they work toward their personal and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
  • Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
  • Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
  • Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.
