Contract Duration: 8 weeks (Starting 7th October)
Project: Fast-Track Retail Refit
Working Hours: Variable between 7am - 7pm (Some weekend work required)
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced retail refit project in North Berwick. This is an 8-week contract, starting on 7th October, ideal for a candidate with a strong background in managing site operations, especially within fast paced fit out environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to high standards
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are adhered to on site
- Problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Provide regular updates and reports to the client
- Work autonomously while being client-facing and professional
Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Black CSCS or Gold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid at Work Certification
- IT literate with the ability to use site management software and tools
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work autonomously and take full responsibility for site operations
Working Conditions:
- Hours are variable, between 7am - 7pm, with some weekend working required.
