Major Recruitment are currently looking for a number of CNC operators to work for our client based in Yatton , North Somerset .

Role: CNC Operator
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible shift times 6:00-14:00/7:00-15:00/8:00-16:00, it is 37.5 hours a week with unpaid break
Pay : between 12.56-14.41 depending on experience + 0.50p uplift of attendance allowance bonus
Attractive Overtime Rates :
x 1.3 on weekdays
x 1.5 first 8 hours of weekend work
x 2 second 8 hours of weekend work
Main Duties:
- Using Heidenhaim, Siemens and Fanuc systems to produce quality machined parts and tooling
- Studying work orders, drawings and machine planning (some training given).
- Working to set procedures and tolerances
- Maintain continuity among colleagues by documenting, reporting and communicating on actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
- To undertake training and operate a range of CNC machinery.
- To maintain the work are to a high standard of housekeeping (knowledge of 5S is advantageous)
- To undertake training and operate a range of CNC machinery.
- To lead by example and portray a good attitude at all times
- To undertake training as required by the company's needs
