Junior Service Desk Analyst

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer support? We’re seeking a Customer Service Officer to join the IT team within an organisation that really care about its employees. In this role, you’ll ensure users have seamless access to the tools and services they need to perform their roles effectively and without disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service requests and incidents via phone, email, or in person, delivering prompt and courteous support.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and user accounts, escalating where necessary.
  • Install and update software, manage user accounts, and provide remote support for off-site users.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base articles, ensuring consistent and accurate information.
  • Communicate technical information in clear, user-friendly terms and keep users informed throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Outlook email support, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or IT support role.
