Solicitor

An established law firm with a family culture is looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team in North Shields. This role offers the opportunity to work within a long-standing firm that values its staff and promotes from within. You will be supervised and mentored by the head of the department and supported by dedicated secretarial staff.

• Handling a variety of commercial property matters, including leases, purchases, sales, and financing.
• Providing legal advice to a diverse client base on all aspects of commercial property law.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial property contracts and agreements.
• Working closely with the head of the department to ensure high-quality legal service delivery.
• Collaborating with secretarial staff to manage documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Engaging in business development activities to maintain and grow the firm’s commercial property portfolio.

• Must have at least 1-year post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
• Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and legal principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the firm’s family culture.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail.
