Introduction

We are thrilled to be working with leading distribution company based in North Walsham. They are a close-knit group, and they are looking for a new Procurement & Ledger Controller to support their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities in line with a monthly budget
  • Update and maintain purchase orders
  • Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure value and availability
  • Track stock due dates and communicate with suppliers as needed
  • Update order dates in our IT system when required
  • Reconcile supplier delivery notes and invoices
  • Enter purchase invoices into our accounting system
  • Resolve supplier delivery discrepancies
  • Arrange for supplier returns when necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Communicate any delivery delays to the Customer Services Team
  • Provide support to the Customer Services Department during busy periods and holiday cover, including handling incoming orders, emails, and phone calls

Desirable Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage or SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in supply chain logistics and finance.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Benefits:
