Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with care leavers to support their personal development.
- Support in developing life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and managing accommodation.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help care leavers build confidence and resilience.
- Help care leavers access education, training, and employment opportunities.
- Support young people in maintaining their health and well-being, including signposting to relevant services.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, housing providers, and educators.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience (minimum 6 months in the UK) in a similar role, supporting vulnerable individuals.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of service users.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to empowering young people to achieve their goals.
Must have:
- Training Certificates
- Right to Work
- In-date DBS
