We are working with a thriving business based at Leeming Bar looking for a full time Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy team. You will be joining a team in the accounts payable department, and reporting to the Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager.

It is preferable that you have experience in a similar role, can display competence on financial softwares and have strong Microsoft Excel skills.

The duties will include:

  • Responsible for document processing to ensure internal and external completeness, internal & external accuracy, and conformance with accounting guidelines and legislation on all routine tasks/financial system
  • Provide a high level of service support internally and externally
  • Support with all internal and external audits. Support the Accounts Payable Manager with additional ad-hoc duties

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

  • A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic self-motivated attitude who can work well within a team
  • Trustworthy and confident, with ethical principles and the ability to demonstrate discretion as appropriate
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively; coupled with the eagerness and dedication to meet regular ongoing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to develop good working relationships with both internal and external points of contact
  • Analytical and accurate, with an eye for detail
