What will I be doing?

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders, and obtaining the necessary approvals before payment. You will prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring that all payments are made on time and in line with company procedures. Reconciliation of supplier statements and accounts will also be a key aspect of your role, ensuring any discrepancies are resolved efficiently.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will work closely as part of a friendly team providing a high level of service and support to external suppliers and colleagues.

About you..

Ideally, you are currently working in a fast-paced finance environment where you are processing a high volume of invoices, either as part of a collaborative team or in an independent role. Or, if you hold a finance degree with a strong grasp of accounting principles and are eager to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting, we value your expertise and enthusiasm. Your hands-on experience in managing accounts payable processes, coupled with your drive to grow and contribute to a well-established finance team, will make you an invaluable asset. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment and is ready to take on new challenges while delivering high-quality results.

Above all, your attention to detail and accuracy is second to none. You have excellent communication skills both face-to-face and over the telephone. You have a flexible approach and will assist others in the team if required. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
