With the transition from the Police National Computer (PNC) to the Law Enforcement Data Service (LEDS), this exciting role ensures a smooth transition for PNC users to LEDS products. You'll provide consultancy, manage stakeholders, and develop expertise in LEDS to ensure its successful integration. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for LEDS product teams, providing expert advice and consultancy.
  • Identify and manage changes required for local systems transitioning from PNC to LEDS.
  • Develop and maintain compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to the LEDS Code of Practice and relevant policies.
  • Create roll-out plans, assess demand, and prioritise business requirements for LEDS products.
  • Coordinate workshops and user testing, ensuring feedback informs product development.
  • Design communication strategies to keep staff updated on LEDS programme progress.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Expertise in PNC Names and PNC Vehicle/Property Enquiries.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Proven planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience liaising with internal colleagues and external partners at all levels.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with PNC VODS and QUEST.
  • Experience using SharePoint for maintaining intranet or internet sites.

Working Patterns

  • Standard office hours with occasional work outside normal hours.
  • Flexibility to work in different locations as required.
  • Attendance at external meetings, conferences, or workshops.

Special Conditions

  • Security vetting (MV) and medical clearance required.
