We are looking for an Assistant Depot Manager to join our growing client in the Northallerton area.
To oversee and optimise day-to-day operations. The Assistant Depot Manager will help lead the operations team ensuring efficiency, excellent customer service, and adherence to health and safety standards. This is a hands-on role which encompasses all facets of the job ensuring standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee logistics and scheduling.
- Lead and develop a team.
- Ensure all units are properly maintained, serviced, and meet quality standards.
- Implement and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Handle client queries and resolve operational issues effectively on site.
- Work closely with senior management to meet business growth targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in depot management, ideally within the fuel / oil sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
