Working hours: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Friday

Reporting to the UK Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Manager your role responsibilities will include:

  • Help to develop the Health and Safety systems ,practices and culture across the entire business
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of operational practices and procedures
  • Develop a good working relationship within the operational teams
  • Be able to develop the safety culture within the factory environment and the wider business
  • Create appropriate documentation and training material to assist with on-site training regarding Health and Safety (H&S) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs
  • Communicate, train and implement required safety, technical, environmental and operational procedures at all levels
  • Provide guidance to employees to ensure their understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
  • Ensure all employees are aware of their safety responsibilities and offer assistance as needed
  • Organize and conduct risk assessments and assist in the preparation of the necessary documentation
  • Perform regular safety checks to ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to investigate accidents and compile information
  • Ensure that all contractors possess the required documentation for review purposes.
  • Help maintain compliance reporting and H&S procedures
  • Manage audit documents and follow up on necessary actions
  • Support facility safety measures, including testing fire alarms, inspecting fire equipment, and coordinating mandated safety inspections
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections of equipment such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits, along with routine site evaluations
  • Assist with compliance-related safety tasks, including fire risk assessments and equipment inspections
  • Support for health and safety initiatives throughout the organization and report any concerns to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
  • Coordinate the ordering and replenishment of personal protective equipment and first aid supplies
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the site’s Health and Safety notice boards.
  • Support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives
