My client is seeking a Technical Support Assistant for an immediate start. As a key member of the Technical team, you will play an essential role in supporting the Technical Manager with various technical activities. This role requires strong IT skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining food safety, quality, and customer standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Technical Manager in delivering technical support across the organisation.
  • Complete and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage and deliver Technical Training Modules for team members.
  • Provide support during customer or third-party audits.
  • Manage and communicate Non-Conformances identified in audits or third-party testing.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and rationalisation of paperwork across all departments.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of quality systems to ensure food safety, quality, legislative compliance, and customer requirements are consistently met.
  • Strong practical IT skills, including experience with internal and web-based customer systems.
  • Effective communication skills to interact positively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the factory environment.
