In this pivotal role, you will support the IT Manager and serve as the point of escalation for two Service Desk Engineers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced 2nd Line Support: Address and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues escalated from the Service Desk Engineers.
  • Microsoft 365 Management: Oversee and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure top performance and security.
  • IT Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and enhancing the IT environment, ensuring systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Project Support: Play a key role in the rollout of new projects, such as a new phone system and ERP introduction.
  • Team Collaboration: Guide and support Service Desk Engineers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and team cohesion.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Documentation: Create and update documentation to enhance process efficiency and knowledge sharing within the team.
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCETo thrive in this role, you will need:
  • Experience: Approximately 4+ years in IT support with substantial 2nd line experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive expertise in Office 365 administration and security, with a solid technical background in related applications (Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Power Apps).
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Proven experience in IT infrastructure maintenance, covering hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with supporting new IT projects and changes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills in resolving complex issues and managing multiple tasks effectively.
