Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining our company's standards of excellence. This position involves providing technical support across all departments, ensuring our site is always audit-ready, and managing product quality through various quality control activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct independent line QC checks and coordinate the completion of all internal audits (GMP, GHP, Fabrication, CCP, Packaging) according to the audit schedule, providing accurate reports.
  • Perform weekly hygiene audits and represent the technical department in meetings as required.
  • Conduct daily taste panels, addressing any non-conformances identified.
  • Manage the QC hold system to quarantine any out-of-specification products or raw materials, coordinating their return, rework, or release as required.
  • Perform environmental swabbing, water sampling, and adhere to the environmental monitoring schedule.
  • Cover duties of the technical administrator during their absence, including creating incident records, updating swabbing results, and managing foreign body boxes.
  • Support with micro investigations, collect retained samples for retest, and manage data entry related to quality control measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • No experience is required - Full training will be provided.
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance or technical role within a manufacturing or production environment is desired.
