Credit Controller

Locally established, dynamic and financially stable, and growing business in Northampton. The team are hardworking and friendly, and really excited to welcome the new Credit Controller to the team. This full-time office-based Credit Control vacancy on a temporary to potential permanent basis. Responsible for chasing chasing overdue payments, you will be an integral part of their small, sales ledger/ credit control team of 5 and report to the Financial Controller.If you have experience in Sales Ledger and/ or Credit Control/ Accounts administration and available at short notice, please do get in touch we would love to hear from you.Credit Controller job duties:• Chasing overdue payments• Issuing sales ledger invoices• Allocating payments to the sales ledger• Dealing with customer queries• Creating payments plans• Setting up new accounts• Credit checking• Working to reduce debtor days• Supplying copy invoices• Producing monthly debtor reports• Liaising with the relevant contacts to set and analyse credit limitPerson:• Experience in Sales Ledger/ Credit Control/ Accounts administration• Able to commute to the office in Northampton on a daily basis• A can-do attitude to work and able to ask questions to get the job done• Confident telephone manner• Help other members of the team at busy periods and in turn they will assist you during your busy periodsBenefits/ additional information:• Ample onsite parking• Easy location to commute to by car and public transport• Friendly welcoming office• Financially stable business• 24 days holiday when permanet If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact Julie or Karen at Warner Recruitment.  We very much look forward to hearing from you.
