  • Happy to work hybrid with attending the Northampton office twice a week (can drop down to 1 day) , however the option is there to work in the office 5 days a week if the candidate is office preferred.
  • 1 day of working in London travel and subsistence paid

Overall job purpose As Finance Officer you will manage the purchase ledger, finance inbox and reconcile all transactions in bank up to TB, ensuring monthly deadlines are met and accurate information is entered into CCT's accounting system

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Register and process purchase invoices in an accurate and timely manner to ensure payments can be made
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the invoice approval system
  • Manage Finance Inbox
  • Respond accurately and efficiently to queries from suppliers and colleagues regarding payments
  • Prepare supplier statement reconciliations as necessary Recruitment & Onboarding Privacy Notice Page
  • Process staff expenses ensuring compliance with policy
  • Manage the relationship with CCT's utility providers
  • Quarterly direct debit audit
  • Process purchase invoices and Champing refunds for CCT's trading subsidiary
  • Assist with fortnightly payment run preparation
  • Administer CCT's procurement cards and reconcile the control account
  • Prepare, submit, and record claims for the Listed Places of Worship scheme
  • Accurately identifying conservation invoices for quarterly retention journal Accounts Receivable / Income Processing The post holder will
  • Work with regional teams to reconcile income received on the Trust's bank account
  • Prepare sales invoices, post receipts and allocations
  • Bi-monthly credit control/liaising with customers and monthly reporting on outstanding sales invoices
  • Monthly reconciliation of membership income in conjunction with Fundraising Team in a Cloud and CRM database
  • Quarterly review of bad debt Financial management and operations The post holder will
  • Produce ad hoc reports as required by the finance team, budget holders, project managers and external bodies
  • Work with other members of the finance team in the preparation of annual audit schedules
  • Work with the Senior Finance Officer to complete monthly bank reconciliations and close the ledgers
  • Prepare monthly journals as part of the month end process, including prepayments and accruals
  • Monthly/Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
