About the Role:

The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is seeking an Experienced Project Accountant with a proven track record in both project work and accounts payable. This Project Accountant role focuses on managing a high-volume, high-value purchase ledger account. We need someone who is proactive and solutions-driven - this account is far from straightforward, so perseverance and a problem-solving mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a complex purchase ledger account, ensuring invoices are processed, payments are made, and queries are resolved efficiently.
  • Assess the end-to-end process to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to streamline operations.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Provide insights and process improvement recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong finance background with hands-on experience in accounts payable and process improvement.
  • Previous experience handling complex accounts.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to remain motivated in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive improvements.
