My client is a well respected household name with a global presence. They operate on a high trust / autonomous culture allowing their workforce to work remotely. In addition, offering state of the art and welcoming office spaces in London and The Midlands for those who live locally and prefer to work in an office environment.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the statutory reporting process for the UK company accounts and pension scheme
  • Prepare UK company and pension scheme accounts using Caseware
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
  • Complete impairment reviews for intellectual property and investments
  • Manage month-end accounting, budgeting, and forecasting for foreign exchange, hedging, and inventory deferrals
  • Complete ONS surveys
  • Collaborate with the finance team on cashflow forecasting for the global treasury team and going concern assessments

Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
  • Experience auditing or preparing statutory accounts
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and levels
  • Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, sumifs, linking files)
  • Experience with Caseware is advantageous
  • Knowledge of E1/Oracle/Hyperion is a plus
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
