We have an exciting opportunity for aSenior RF Design Engineerto join a leading engineering company specialising inRF technology for defence, aviation, and secure communications. This role offers asalary of 60,000 - 65,000and involves working across the full product lifecycle in afast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- RF system architecture, simulation, and circuit design.
- PCB layout, schematic capture (Altium), and RF component selection.
- Design of RF amplifiers (up to 200W), filters, transmitters, and receivers.
- Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Leading design reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ yearsin RF design, ideally within defence or aerospace.
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools, PCB design software, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, network analysers).
- Expertise inRF power amplifiers (GaN, LDMOS), antenna design, and EMC considerations.
- Stronganalogue and digital electronicsknowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ yearsin RF engineering.
- Familiarity withMIL-STD and DO-160 compliance.
- Experience withAltium Designer, Cadence AWR Microwave Office, and AnsysHFSS.
