Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 40 hrs, Mon - Thurs: 07:00 - 17:00 Friday 08:00 - 12:00

The Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of metal hose assemblies with over 35 years of industry experience, is looking for a dedicated Sales Administrator to join their team. Based in Kingsthorpe, Northampton, this multi-million-pound business serves a wide range of industries across the UK and overseas. As a Sales Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities:

  • Generate and analyse sales and finance reports to track performance and identify trends.
  • Accurately process sales orders from receipt to completion.
  • Prepare and provide detailed quotes to clients via phone and email.
  • Monitor and update the status of customer orders, ensuring timely communication regarding product availability and order progress.
  • Ensure smooth daily office operations by coordinating with internal teams, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall workflow.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles, with a strong focus on supporting operations and customer satisfaction.
  • An outgoing and proactive nature, with the drive to consistently update and engage customers, ensuring they are well-informed.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to accurately enter data and information, contributing to smooth and efficient office operations.
