The Role:As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the heart of growth. Managing a portfolio of key accounts, including distributors, OEMs, and end customers. Your technical knowledge and strong communication skills will empower you to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and play a pivotal role in expanding market presence.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new business opportunities and maximise potential with existing clients.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, addressing product-related queries swiftly and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure company objectives are met.
- Conduct technical demonstrations, explaining complex product features to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Monitor sales performance, track metrics, and report on account status to senior management.
- Overcome challenges and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a sales account management role, ideally within a technical field.
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A passionate communicator with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Possess strong presentation and product demonstration skills.
