We are delighted to be representing this top client in their search for a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their growing team. As a BDM, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding revenues from existing accounts within the house builder sector. You will play a key role in increasing their market share and contributing to the company's continued success.

The main responsibilities of this role are to target key markets, develop a winning strategy and close quotes to be passed to the project management team. To manage the marketing strategy for the business, actively promoting via email marketing, telephone canvassing and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities with house builders in your assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within house builder organisations.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet customer expectations and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement targeted campaigns to generate leads and drive brand awareness.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the house builder sector.
  • Accurately track sales activity, progress, and results using CRM software and provide regular updates to management.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role within a related industry (e.g., construction, landscaping, outdoor recreation).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of equipment and safety standards.
  • Experience working with local authorities and planning departments.
  • Understanding of the house building industry and development processes.
