ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

As the LV/HV Connections Manager, you will oversee electrical works on Distribution Network Operators (DNO) networks. As a selected contractor, you will have direct responsibility for ensuring the safety, quality, and technical standards of all work performed by your team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure projects are completed to the correct standards and delivered on time.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain safe working practices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of inspection, testing, certification, and reporting procedures.
  • Train and support your team, equipping them to perform their roles effectively.
  • Provide coaching and identify training needs to ensure team compliance and skill development.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses in line with Health & Safety protocols.
  • Complete weekly timesheets accurately.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
  • Record details of work undertaken accurately.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

To be successful in this role, you will possess one of the following qualifications:

  • DNO Authorisation/Competency Certificate (minimum of five years)
  • Experience with NERS and Jointing in LV and HV
  • Knowledge of Electrical Networks and ICP standards
  • NRSWA Supervisors qualification

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience working with DNOs, ICPs, or IDNOs
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Effective team leadership skills
  • A commitment to health and safety practices
