Are you a recent or Civil Engineering graduate, looking for your first steps into the industry, then this my be the role for you. This Civil Engineering Organisation performs residential groundwork's for the top housing developers in the UK.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our technical team as a trainee technical co-ordinator, your role will be to assist the technical team to complete their daily duties, whilst training to fulfil the role of Technical Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability's:

  • Understanding and learning processes & procedures within the Technical and engineering department.
  • Dealing with technical enquiries from QS/ Engineer/ Site.
  • Reviewing and logging CCTV Surveys & test results.
  • Reviewing drawing revisions
  • Registering drawing revisions and issuing to chase up to QS's each Monday.
  • Obtaining information from CAD drawings to assist engineers.
  • Creating road models in CAD & ICON office.
  • Volumetric analysis.
  • Administering site start information including site checks and chasing information.
  • Assist with departmental development.
  • Various Company Reports/ administration.
  • Personal on-going development.
  • Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 B's at A Level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous
  • Candidates with a desire for a long-term career within Construction
  • Dedicated and determined
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and organisation
  • Good skill with numbers with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and work under pressure
  • Clean UK driving license
