Role: Learning Support Assistant 

Location: Northampton 

Start Date: ASAP 

Pay: £90 - £100 per day 

We are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded all through school based around the Northampton area, supporting them recruit a full time Learning Support Assistant. The role is due to start in the coming weeks. 

Key Requirements:• Experience: Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.• Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.• Passion for SEN: A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.• Flexibility: Adaptability to meet the varying needs of students across different settings.Responsibilities:• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.• Help students with personal care, mobility, and other physical needs as required.• Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.• Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
