We have recently been tasked with helping a local organisation find a new Service Manager for their 40 bedded service. As Service Manager, you will draw upon your leadership skills and extensive knowledge as you will be responsible for the running of all aspects of the service. You will ensure it maintains the highest standards of care whilst running it as efficiently as possible. Also managing the commercial success of the home.

There will be support from the Directors and Regional Managers with a well-staffed team in place ready to be led!

About the service
This service provides open rehabilitation for men with chronic mental health, functional illnesses, and dementia between its two units. These two units are on a site with a lovely mature leafy garden and shared therapy space.

It is a modern, purpose-built setting close to the centre of Northampton with 40 beds that comprises of 2 units:

One unit caters for men with long standing serious mental health difficulties, and some also have challenging behaviour or substance misuse.

Second unit also provides for men with serious mental health challenges and functional illnesses, but in addition has a segregated floor for patients with cognitive impairment.

Each service user has their own ensuite bedroom with either a shower or wet room and access to large communal facilities for socialising, eating together and relaxing. They can exercise and enjoy fresh air in the garden area. Providing enclosed facilities which are within walking distance of local facilities in the community, which supports each person's tailored care pathway by allowing supervised activities in the local area as a bridge to volunteering, working, or taking up educational opportunities

Currently this service had a GOOD CQC!
