We are excited to be recruiting a Finance Director for a leading educational institution. This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, controls, and reporting while working closely with senior leadership to enhance financial strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead on financial forecasting, ensuring effective scenario planning and robust financial controls.
  • Oversee key financial operations, including budgeting, capital expenditure, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and department heads, ensuring they have the financial insights they need to make informed decisions.
  • Act as a key liaison for internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and financial integrity.
  • Manage and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and financial accountability.

This role is based in Northampton and offers hybrid working, with three days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant with experience in financial leadership.

  • Have experience in education or public sector finance (desirable but not essential).
