We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Finance Manager to join a small and friendly team based in the heart of Northampton. You will play a vital role within the groups operations and will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly management reports
  • Manage a small finance team, ensuring KPI’s are delivered on time, efficiently and processes are followed Record all financial transactions, ensuring they are filed and reported accurately whilst checking for discrepancies.
  • Manage the groups cashflow, tracking transactions and creating regular internal reports
  • Process monthly payroll
  • Prepare budgets and financial plans whilst looking for opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and other periodic HMRC submissions
  • Ensure all staff are following company processes, and that all systems and controls are operating effectively whilst adhering to regulations and legislation
  • Manage company accounts and investments Work with internal and external auditors, and prepare audit packs

About The Desired Candidate

  • Accounting qualification is highly desirable, but candidates QBE will also be considered
  • Experienced in a similar role managing a team
  • Advanced Excel skills Strong communicator with the ability to build both internal and external relationships
