An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional FP&A Manager to join a dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in elevating business understanding for the Senior Leadership team and will be offered on a 12-month FTC. The successful candidate will form a key part of the wider Finance team, supporting a team of commercial accountants and taking responsibility for a broad and varied remit.

As an FP&A Manager, your role will be integral to the finance team, you'll be responsible for supporting strategic planning, managing budgets, and providing insightful analysis to inform decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in leading the Data/MI team, managing head office costs, and driving continuous improvement within the finance function. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact within a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Support the overall strategic plan for the group ensuring seamless interpretation of corporate timelines
  • Ensure rigorous planning for maximum returns from the Division's capital base
  • Manage the budgeting timetable and create budgets for central cost centres
  • Stakeholder management of the wider finance function and review of all business financial plans
  • Prepare regular reporting on risks and opportunities
  • Own the format and content of reporting packs, ensuring concise, accurate data for decision-making
  • Support the Security team in investigating, reporting, and making recommendations for all security incidents within the division
  • Identify process and system improvements to drive a culture of continuous improvement in the finance function

What you bring:

As an FP&A Manager, you bring a wealth of experience from fast-paced commercial environments. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively manage projects towards tight deadlines. You will have proven analytical skills that will allow you to solve complex problems while providing effective leadership. Your experience with system and business structural changes is invaluable in the ever-changing business environment.

  • PQE with experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan and execute projects towards tight deadlines
  • Experience of working within a changing business environment, with exposure to system and business structural changes
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide effective finance and business leadership
  • Experienced in timely and accurate month-end reporting with strong attention to detail even under pressure
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel or Google Sheets
  • A drive and passion to change the way something has always been done
