Operational Finance Business Partner Location: Northampton

My client is looking for a highly motivated Operational Finance Business Partner to join their team in this nearly created role and help drive our manufacturing operations to new heights!

About the Role:

As a key member of our operations leadership team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial performance of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret manufacturing cost variances, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement robust costing methodologies and reporting systems to provide real-time financial insights.
  • Support the creation and adherence to operational budgets, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning.
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or production efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Candidates Requirement:

  • Strong finance business partnering skills and experience in manufactured product costing and inventory management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with an ERP package (preferably SAP), with competency in Power BI advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
