Reed Financial Services are seeking a Chartered Paraplanner to be part of a fast-moving start-up that’s set to make waves in the Financial Services industry. With a team that’s passionate about client acquisition and growth, we’re looking for an individual who is eager to take on a challenge and grow with us. The ideal candidate will have aspirations to become an adviser, manage clients, or lead a paraplanning team.

Chartered Paraplanner

  • Location: Near Northampton
  • Job Type: Full-time, Office-based
  • Salary: £55k per annum

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide technical financial planning support to advisers within the firm.
  • Prepare financial reports and conduct research to ensure the best financial advice is given.
  • Work closely with the team to manage client portfolios and develop financial strategies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to keep up with industry changes and advancements.
  • Utilise exceptional IT skills, including proficiency in VBA, to streamline processes and enhance client services.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Chartered status or a strong willingness to work towards it.
  • IMC qualification or readiness to obtain it.
  • At least five years of experience in financial planning.
  • Perfect technical knowledge of financial products and regulations.
  • Exceptional IT skills, with a preference for candidates excelling in VBA.
  • Great people skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A thirst for knowledge and a significant work rate, with the ability to work exceptionally hard in a start-up environment.
