Our client is on the search for an energetic and driven trainee engineer looking for a field-based role. They have a wealth of experience in their sector.

The Client recruiting for the Trainee Duct Fitter:

  • Our client is expanding and on the lookout for engineers and technicians.

Your Role as a Trainee Duct Fitter:

  • Carry out installs on dust, fume, and mist extraction systems.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of well-known engineering clients.
  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative, service and install team.
  • Ideal for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals.
  • Gain experience by working alongside experienced engineers.
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work.

Ideal Background for the Trainee Duct Fitter Position:

  • Perfect for trainee engineers or those mechanical hobbies such as car repairs, etc.
  • Ideally, some form of mechanical or engineering qualification such as NVQ, HNC, BTec, etc.
  • Full valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
  • Willing to work at heights (PASMA / IPAF certificate beneficial)
  • Able to handle heavy weights and awkward loads.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • You must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship won't be provided.

The Package for the Trainee Duct Fitter:

  • £24,000 - £28,000 based on experience.
