About the clientThe Management Recruitment Group is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to work within the property team for a public sector organisation in Northamptonshire.Accountabilities

• Responsible health and safety matters within this organisations property team
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to for construction and maintenance projects
• Provide advice on safety issues and legislation across this organisation
• Carry out safety inspections, investigations and audits in compliance with statutory requirements
• Make appropriate safety recommendations as required
• Presentation of health and safety information
• Provide guidance to staff within the organisation at all levels on a variety of health and safety matters

Candidate Requirements

• NEBOSH, IOSH or working towards
• Proven experience in Health and Safety ideally within the public sector
• Live a commutable distance to Northamptonshire
