Technical Support Engineer

Northampton (hybrid)

£28,000-30,000 per annum inc shift allowance

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Service Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT Services team. This role is integral to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our clients' IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, including both day and night shifts, providing critical support and maintenance for our diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st line support (30% to customers, 70% internal teams)
  • Escalating issues to 2nd/3rd line
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Customer service experience
  • Good response time to tickets

Skillset:

  • 1 year Service Desk experience
  • MSP experience (beneficial not essential)
  • Microsoft products - Office 365
  • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
  • Virtualisation- VMWare/Hyper-V
  • SCCM
  • SharePoint
