Warehouse & Stock Controller
Temp to Perm Opportunity, Monday to Friday working 0830 -1700 £12.70 per hour, starting salary of £24,472 with additional bonuses when criteria is achieved. Interviews to take place in January
We have an excellent opportunity for a warehouse operative who also has knowledge of stock control and warehouse administration to join our client in Earls Barton. Our client are suppliers to the catering industry and work with the largest pub chains across the UK. This is a very versatile role where you need to be able to multi task. The role will involve the following
Picking Packing and processing goods in
Stocktaking and dealing with daily stock control
Dealing with customer enquiries over the phone and via email and live chat
Dealing with couriers such as UPS and DPD
General warehouse duties and quality checking.
Working as part of a team and on your own.
Working to deadlines especially for order collections
To be considered for the Warehouse & Stock Controller position the following experience is required
Experienced warehouse person
Have previously dealt with stock control
Proficient in use of computers - Ideally with previous experience of stock management systems
Flexible in your approach to work - The role demands a variety of tasks
Must be able to work as part of a team and take instruction
Be able to work quickly and accurately whilst under pressure
Have a good telephone manner and be confident in dealing with customers.
This is a very varied role and a temp to perm position for the right candidate. Further monetary enhancements are available if you have a counterbalance licence and are fire warden and first aid trained. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted w.c 6th January 2025.
