Our clients are property professionals established in Northamptonshire for over 50 years. Their services cover all aspects of residential property; from lettings and management to sales and buy-to-let investments. This firm is one of the largest independents letting agents in the UK.

Their credentials, resources and network in the property industry give them a unique position, where they have access to various vendors, applicants, and investors. This gives them sales division considerable advantage and enables them to negotiate sales very efficiently. Moreover, their vast portfolio of managed properties allows them to offer some great buy-to-let opportunities to investors.

JOB TITLE: Assistant within Operations

REPORTING TO: Operations Manager

Overview to role

Due to the growth of the business our client is delighted to offer this exciting new opportunity to an analytical, numbers orientated professional with a passion for data and all things analytical. This role supports relevant professional qualifications.

This Job Description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. Specific Tasks

  • Block management -currently manage 50+ blocks. You will need to provide client account support. This will include block account analysis and reviews.
  • Budget setting support to the Property Managers.
  • CRM system processing and compliance checking.
  • Providing support to onboarding process.
  • Providing company accounts support, this will include sales and Invoice processing as well as debt collection.
  • Performance Reporting - Collection and collation of data, management of reporting tools including Excel
  • Presentation of data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Support to Projects as required - to including preparation of project documentation and support to the operation manager in delivery and implementation stages
  • The role will be primarily office based in Northampton but may occasionally require travel to other branches.

Person Spec

Essential Requirements

  • AAT qualified/degree or similar in a relevant finance subject
  • Accounts/bookkeping experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Ability to analyse data and produce reports
  • Good Word and PowerPoint Skill
  • High Standard of Maths and English
  • Good Communication skills including verbal and written
  • Problem Solver/solution focussed - able to think on their feet
  • Able to work on own initiative within a support team structure
  • Driving licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Xero
  • Client Account Handling experience
  • Statistical analysis and presentation

HOURS OF WORK: 8:30-5:30 Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch

SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE

This is reviewed annually on 1st April

HOLIDAY: 28 days including bank holidays
