Description
The Interim Legal Counsel will:
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
- Manage commercial contracts proactively and liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the intellectual property portfolio and advise on brand management.
- Handle data protection queries and promote data protection compliance across the business.
- Offer timely and practical legal advice on various commercial issues.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure the business remains compliant.
Profile
The Interim Legal Counsel will be:
- A Solicitor with 4+ years PQE or equivalent experience.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a knack for identifying creative legal solutions.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Strong organisational abilities, able to manage a busy and evolving workload.
- Commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to balancing business needs with legal requirements.
