My client is a multi-site, regional, Legal 500 recognised and well-established law firm based in Northampton and is currently looking for an Employment NQ – two-year Solicitor to bolster its close-knit, driven team.

The Role:

This is a varied and fulfilling role that will grow with you. You will have the opportunity to work on projects in conjunction with the Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property teams.

Your duties:

  • Advising on compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
  • Providing strategic guidance on projects such as restructures, changes to employment terms and large-scale redundancy exercises
  • Offering high-level advice on Boardroom and Senior Management Team (SMT) disputes
  • Delivering ad hoc guidance on operational HR matters
  • Assisting with data protection compliance
  • Representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings

You: 

  • You will be a Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE Solicitor with prior training contract or true experience in employment matters
  • You will have a keen eye for detail and be client-focused in all that you do
  • You will be an organised individual with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • You will have the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
