About the Role:

My client are looking for a BMS (Building Management Systems) Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their team and work across the Northampton area. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of Building Management Systems, ensuring optimal system performance for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service & Maintenance: Provide scheduled service, troubleshooting, and reactive maintenance on BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, and Schneider).
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and repair faults within the BMS systems to ensure smooth operation of building controls.
  • System Optimization: Make recommendations for improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Offer support and guidance to clients on BMS usage and performance improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, reports, and updates following each visit.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience working with BMS systems, particularly Trend, Tridium, and Schneider.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC controls, electrical and mechanical systems related to BMS.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Qualifications: Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or control systems (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
