Facilities Manager

Location: Northampton

Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 (Dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Impact Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading global manufacturer, specialising in advanced manufacturing across multiple industries. We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the full facilities maintenance and servicing of their Northampton manufacturing site.

The Role:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will take full responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of the site's facilities. Your key duties will include:

  • Overseeing gas and HVAC systems, drainage & effluent, and site infrastructure
  • Managing boilers, steam, and compressed air systems
  • Coordinating and supporting third-party contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Conducting regular site inspections and implementing continuous improvement strategies
  • Enhancing site efficiency by reducing energy consumption and waste
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities
  • Monitoring technical systems and conducting site security reviews

What We're Looking For:

  • To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, or servicing
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, mechanical equipment, and compliance procedures
  • The ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competency in IT systems, including maintenance documentation
  • A strong understanding of health & safety regulations
