With over 20 years of experience in their manufacturing industry, supplying to large firms globally, they are a market leading business going through an exciting period of growth. With a dedicated team of 20-30 employees our client are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to lead a dynamic team and uphold commitment to excellence.
Position: Operations Manager
Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Pay: 35,000 - 40,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities and Duties:
As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the full site operations.
- Scheduling and Production Planning
- Efficiently allocate resources
- Optimise operational efficiency
- Customer Communication
- Provide order updates
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Complete and monitor work documentation
- Ensure quality and compliance
- Equipment Maintenance, coordinating maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Ensure reliability and consistency in production processes
- Team Management: Manage staff appraisals, training, and development
- Stock Management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Multiple years of experience in an operations manager role
- Demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills
- Evidence of relevant education and training
- Proficcient in using Microsoft 365 business
- Proficiency in effective communication, both with your team and customers
- Full UK driving license
