Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to work with a well-established, family-run business. With over 20 years of experience in their manufacturing industry, supplying to large firms globally, they are a market leading business going through an exciting period of growth. With a dedicated team of 20-30 employees our client are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to lead a dynamic team and uphold commitment to excellence.

Position: Operations Manager

Location: Northampton

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Pay: 35,000 - 40,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities and Duties:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the full site operations.

  • Scheduling and Production Planning
  • Efficiently allocate resources
  • Optimise operational efficiency
  • Customer Communication
  • Provide order updates
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Complete and monitor work documentation
  • Ensure quality and compliance
  • Equipment Maintenance, coordinating maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Ensure reliability and consistency in production processes
  • Team Management: Manage staff appraisals, training, and development
  • Stock Management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Multiple years of experience in an operations manager role
  • Demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills
  • Evidence of relevant education and training
  • Proficcient in using Microsoft 365 business
  • Proficiency in effective communication, both with your team and customers
  • Full UK driving license
