This role is ideal for someone with experience in retail or POS (Point of Sale) design, looking to work on innovative and high-quality product solutions.The Product Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

A degree or qualification in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in product design, ideally within retail displays, POS, or furniture manufacturing.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Knowledge of materials such as plastics, metals, wood, and composites.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and CNC machining.
Ability to produce detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
Strong creative and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

The Product Design Engineer role will involve:

Designing and developing innovative retail and POS display solutions.
Producing 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
Ensuring designs are cost-effective, functional, and manufacturable.
Working closely with clients, sales teams, and manufacturers to meet project requirements.
Managing projects from concept through to production and installation.
Conducting product testing and improvements based on client feedback.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, materials, and new technologies.
