An excellent opportunity has arisen, for a Regional Health & Safety Advisor to join our safety team on a full-time permanent basis covering our sites in the East of the UK and London North with a flexible base location. The role reports to the Head of Safety, Health and Environment as an intrinsic part of the corporate Management Services Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with Operational Colleague's and Leadership to ensure compliance with legislation and corporate procedures and to ensure the delivery of safety training to sites within the region.
  • Completing incident investigation and providing an advisory support function to site management, insurers and regional leadership teams
  • Roll out the health and safety strategy across your region whilst providing safety and environmental guidance and coaching to managers to drive forward a health, safety and environmental focused culture
  • Support the wider safety team to drive improvements and projects within the region.

Qualification and Experience
  • To be a success in this role you will be an experienced, NEBOSH certified, safety person that can build strong lasting relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • The role will involve travelling and occasional overnight stays within the region
  • To play a valued part you will be able to identify improvements and engage colleagues to drive improvement in key risk areas
  • A strong health and safety background, with multi-site experience
