Our client is a leading medical device supplier, who are supplying to some major healthcare organisations across the UK. They are market leaders who are always looking to onboard new employees to bring fresh ideas to the team. They are looking for a Production Supervisor from a background within medical clothing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing the day to day of production floor staff
- Working amongst CNC Cutting Machines, Sewing Machines, and Grinding Wheels
- Shop floor based getting involved in day to day activities and ensuring smooth production
- Focus on KPI's and ensure alignment with company expectations
- Produce and maintain documentation on production, quality, and health and safety
- Uphold ISO13485 standards
- Focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives, and ensure training and development of staff
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Medical clothing background
- IOSH certified
- Management/ supervisory experience
- Hands on background, understanding how their machinery works
- Strong H&S background implementing safe procedures
