Project Manager - A428 Highways Improvement Scheme

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects?

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team and lead the successful delivery of the A428 Highways Improvement Scheme. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the community, contributing to a major infrastructure project that will improve connectivity and boost economic growth.

About the Role:

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of this significant highways improvement scheme. This will involve:

  • Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Proactively managing risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including local residents, businesses, and government agencies.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


About You:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale highways or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. APM, ICE) is desirable.
