Full time Receptionist:  SJC Partners are working on behalf of a highly reputable, multi service law firm who are looking for a receptionist to join them at our Northampton office. The successful candidate would be responsible for greeting clients and visitors to our office, contacting fee earners and secretaries regarding visitors/queries, answering phones and taking messages, and sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail together with other duties as allocated by management.  To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.  Responsibilities:
  • Greet Clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Announcing Clients as necessary
  • Helping maintain the workplace
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing etc.
  • Preparing meeting rooms
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
  • Performing as-hoc administrative duties
  • Answering, forwarding and screening phone calls.
  • Sorting and distributing mail, printing and scanning for fee earners.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Scheduling appointments
 Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a legal receptionist or a similar field.
  • Consistent, professional dress and manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as allocated.
